Somerset’s review of the erection scheme mid construction led to reduced time and labor costs for this cable-stayed bridge.

The erection of the cable-stayed Alex Fraser Bridge was planned by Somerset using a balanced cantilever method and used purpose built erection equipment also designed by Somerset.

Somerset provided the erection plan for this new twin leafed steel bascule bridge on the Cape Arago Highway.
