Location: Vancouver, BC Contract Value:

The new headquarters for the telecommunication company is a unique architectural tower featuring pop-out floors, a 5 storey glass office wing and a spectacular curved wood and steel spine lobby area. KWH performed all the structural steel installation on the project. The five storey glass office ‘bar’ truss was supported at one end with Somerset designed modular falsework and the main truss connections were field welded. To install part of the ‘spine’ under the multi-storey tower Somerset devised a sliding system as overhead craning was not possible. KWH also installed all of the wood ribs to the spine.
